Don’t miss the fun! Register for the December 10 Holiday Social by Tuesday, December 3!

The Annual MURA Holiday Social and Luncheon will feature caroling, time to socialize with friends, trivia games, and a delightful meal, and a fun opportunity to support the Kitty Dickerson Scholarship Fund with an improved raffle. The luncheon will feature three great entrées plus a choice of dessert at the following costs: baked salmon $35, caprese chicken $30, and vegetarian lasagna $25.

Support MURA’s Kitty Dickerson Scholarship Fund and Win!
As part of the December 10 MURA Holiday social, there will be a gift basket raffle to raise funds for the Kitty Dickerson MURA Scholarship Fund. The fund was created to honor the past president of MURA and awards scholarships to MU/UM students whose parents are MU/UM staff employees. Since its inception in 2016, $50,000 in scholarships have been awarded. Grand prizes will include a basket of Mizzou goodies, donated by the Missouri Book Store, as well as gift cards, and other surprises. Additional themed baskets contain fun and useful items donated by MURA Board members and Past-Presidents—Mizzou, Happy Hour, Cozy Fun, Sweet Treats, Sports, and more.

Here’s how you can join the fun:
Attend the December 10 MURA Holiday Social – All those who attend the December event will receive one complimentary raffle ticket. You will be able to purchase additional tickets on site to increase your chances of winning! Drawings for the baskets will be held at the end of the Social.

Can’t attend the December 10 Social? — Between now and December 9, make a donation of at least $20 via online contribution or check. See Mizzou Give Direct where you can make your donation online or print a form (link at the bottom of the Mizzou Give Direct page) to mail a check. Then, send an email note to Jo Turner or Ted Tarkow with the subject line, “I made a donation to Kitty Dickerson MURA Scholarship Fund. We will put your name on two raffle tickets and put them into the drawing for the grand prizes. If you win, we’ll notify you and arrange to get your prize to you.

Luncheon Options (per person):

• Baked Atlantic Salmon–Wild-caught Salmon topped with dill cream sauce and served with red mashers and grilled vegetable medley. ($35)
• Caprese Chicken – Italian marinated chicken breast with tomatoes, fresh basil, Mozzarella cheese with a Balsamic reduction paired with garlic red mashers and lemon butter broccoli. ($30)
• Vegetarian Lasagna– Featuring whole grain noodles layered with sea salt, broccoli, shoestring carrots and cheesy blend of ricotta, mozzarella, Romano, Asiago and Parmesan cheeses. Paired with steamed lemon butter broccoli and a garlic bread stick. ($25)
