Volunteers Needed for Student Move-In Day

Volunteers Needed for Student Move-In Day (August 12 and August 15, 2018).  Registration for residence hall move-in at the University of Missouri is now open.

NOTE: Everyone registers individually;  the deadline for MU Retirees Team membership is July 15.

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is seeking volunteers to assist with student move-in day.  All volunteers should register under “MU Retirees”. Volunteers who register under this team name will be grouped together within the different time slots.

This year, each individual in the MURA team is responsible for completing the volunteer registration form. When completing the registration form, please be sure to indicate the following:

  • Team Name – MU Retirees
  • Volunteer Schedule – (Have each participant select as many slots as they are willing to work – they will be scheduled for each shift they click. We will group people registering under the team name “MU Retirees” together.)
    • Sunday, August 12th 8am-11am
    • Sunday, August 12th 10:30am-1:30pm
    • Sunday, August 12th 1pm-4pm
    • Wednesday, August 15th 8am-11am
    • Wednesday, August 15th 10:30am-1:30pm
    • Wednesday, August 15th 1pm-4pm
  • Volunteer Role – (indicate your preference)
    1. Unloading and moving items
    2. Rally crew
    3. Street traffic control
    4. Traffic control for centralized check-in
