Volunteers Needed for Student Move-In Day (August 12 and August 15, 2018).  

Volunteer registration for residence hall move-in at the University of Missouri is now open.

NOTE: Everyone registers individually;  the deadline for MU Retirees Team membership is July 15.

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) is seeking volunteers to assist with student move-in day. This fall, OSA plans to create a one-stop shop at the Hearnes Center with a variety of activities, departments and offices on site, to help students register for Parking, Dining, Cashiers, Financial Aid, Fraternity & Sorority Life, etc. The ID Office centralized process will ensure a warm welcome for new students and their families and help us manage the traffic flow through campus.

To pull this off, OSA needs double the number of volunteers as in past years. This is a great opportunity for MURA members to join together with faculty and staff to make a great first impression and welcome our new students and their families to Mizzou. We are also hoping for high involvement from our student organizations.

All volunteers should register under “MU Retirees”. Volunteers who register under this team name will be grouped together within the different time slots.
