This spring, the University of Missouri will welcome visitors to a family friendly open house – SHOW ME MIZZOU DAY, on Saturday, April 13. Everyone’s invited to this day of discovery and fun to explore our state’s flagship university and learn the meaning of Tiger pride.
The campus will be open, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering more than 95 events for people of all ages. Families will be able to attend presentations, tour campus and see research in action. In the afternoon, they will be able to experience the excitement of Mizzou Athletics by attending the Mizzou Football spring game and Mizzou Baseball game.
Visitors will find everything from the MU Health helicopter to a presentation by MU’s own renowned George Smith, Curator’s Distinguished Professor of Biological Sciences and 2018 Nobel Prize Winner.
We need volunteers to make this event a success!! Volunteers are needed to—
- Welcome visitors to campus
- Work information booths
- Provide transportation via golf carts (students may not drive)
- Distribute event activity maps
- Assist with directional information
- All volunteers receive a free event t-shirt.

Matt will be in contact with you for where to park, how to check-in, options to pick up T-Shirt and your assignment. The deadline to volunteer is March 21.
