MURA Breakfast Meeting
Tuesday, June 2nd 8 – 9:30 a.m.
Legislative Session Wrap Up
By member’s request, MURA’s monthly breakfast schedule has been extended for one more month than the normal September through May. On Tuesday June 6, we will gather at our usual place–Country Club of Missouri, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for a Legislative Session Wrap Up organized by Mary Ann McCollum.
Mary Ann has invited State Senator Caleb Rowden, District 19, and State Representatives Cheri Toalson Reisch, District 44; Kip Kendrick, District 45; Martha Stevens, District 46; and Chuck Basye, District 47. Mary Ann will facilitate the discussion to provide the perfect follow up to David Leuthold’s May talk about President Trump’s and Governor Greiten’s first 100 days in office.
The cost to attend this breakfast is $12 payable at the door but you must have a reservation to attend. To register, please contact Jack Miles at 573-445-5024 or email him at email@example.com by Thursday, June 1.
If you register and then find that you cannot make it, please do not be a ‘no show’. Just let Jack know you need to cancel out ASAP. While we do not want to discourage anyone from coming, all of you know that large groups have to have a ‘head count’ turned in prior to the scheduled event so there is enough food available. MURA is no different and Jack has to submit a number to the Country Club based on the pre-registration information he has. Unfortunately, we have had a higher-than-we-would-like number of no-shows this year, putting our account with the Country Club in jeopardy. I could be wrong but I believe this is the only MURA sponsored event where payment is not required ahead of time and we really want to keep it that way and continue to use the ‘pay at the door’ method. With everyone’s understanding and cooperation, this can continue to work.
